Outstanding GCSE results at London East Academy again!

Once again, London East Academy has achieved outstanding results this summer in GCSEs. Class of 2021 at London East Academy enjoyed exam success with 93% of pupils gaining grades 9-5 including English & maths.

The GCSE results reflect five years of determined work from our governors, staff, parents and students. Given the challenging circumstances we have been under, we our proud of how all of our school community have worked together in partnership and thus are able to celebrate the success of our students’ achievements.

  • Talha Amin achieved ten grade 9s
  • Masrur Usaed achieved nine grade 9s and one grade 8
  • Musa Alom achieved seven grade 9s and two grade 8s
A message from the chair of governors:

On behalf of the Governing Body of London East Academy and Al Mizan School, I would like to congratulate both students and staff on an outstanding set of GCSE and SATs results.

For many of our pupils this will bring to an end their formal education, which has occurred during the most unprecedented time. They have worked extremely hard in the most unusual of circumstances, whilst being supported by staff academically, emotionally and practically, to achieve these outcomes.

The success we are having is a result of a lot of hard work and support from the senior leadership team, the staff, and parents. As governors, we are committed to continue to provide the best education for all our children. We remain resilient in the face of whatever challenges we may encounter.

We hope, as students, you will show gratitude to Allah for everything that He has given you, and continue to strive for success in this world and the next.

Hussain Shefaar,

Chair of Governors
